Good Morning Hawks

 

Today is Tuesday, November 21, 2017

 

We will be on a short assembly C-day schedule for advisory today.

 

TSA: Today at lunch TSA will be selling Hawks Pop sockets! Come to Lower E- Hall and  support your Technology Student Association. 

 

BOWLING: On Saturday the High School bowling held it's third tournament and for the third week in a row - a Hawk team soared to a first place finish.  Tyler Doucett, Ryan Lovato, Marcus Garcia, Kevin Jaramillo and Brandon Trujillo held off 11 other teams in the competitive Intermediate division.  The VVHS coach are proud of the effort of the many first time bowlers effort that makes all teams competitive.  They look forward to having more than 25 bowlers ready for the next tournament on Dec 2nd at the Starlight Lanes.

 
ATHLETICS:
BASKETBALL:
The season opener for girls and boys' basketball is tonight in the Ring of Fire against Atrisco Heritage. The girls will play at 5:30 and the boys will play at 7pm
 
GIRLS TRACK: Girls pre-season track and field will begin Monday November 27th at 2:45 pm. Please see Coach Schrader in H018 or Coach Salcedo in A105 this week at lunch to get a schedule and fill out paperwork.
 
BOYS TRACK Hey Hawks!  If you are interested in being a part of the incredible men's track program here at Volcano Vista, we have a pre-season meeting at lunch today in the Lecture Hall.
