OPEN MIC NIGHT November 17th...THAT'S NEXT FRIDAY.
Performers should sign up in Mr. Zimmerman's room H 115 or Ms. Hatch's room F 205.
Cost is 1$ for performers and 5$ for everyone else.
CALLING ALL MUSICAL THEATRE FANS: are you interested in auditioning for the spring musical The Sound of Music? Auditions are Monday, November 13 and Tuesday, November 14 after school in the PAC. Ladies, prepare the song "Climb Every Mountain" and Gentlemen, prepare the song "Edelweiss" for your audition. You must sign up for your audition time before Monday, so visit the PAC for the audition form link or go to the VVVHS website. But wait, what if you want to help crew the show, be behind-the-scenes? Visit the PAC for the Crew Interest form link. All forms must be digitally submitted BEFORE Monday. Break a leg!!
EDUCATORS RISING: Do You Like Pizza?? The Student Chapter of Educators Rising is having an informational lunch today in E111 and PIZZA will be provided for all who attend. If you LOVE pizza and you think you might be interested in teaching, come join Educators Rising today, yes, today in E111, for free pizza and club information
DECA: Join us this Saturday at 10 AM to run at our DECA sponsored Color Run! Admission is now donation-based! Sign up by the DECA snack bar and any proceedings will go to VVHS Band and Athletics. Each participant will get a packet of powder. The starting line will be on the soccer field behind VVHS. Come out and support your school this Veteran's Day weekend!
DECA: DECA's Can Food Drive is still in and will continue Till November 17th. To participate clubs would collect cans or money. Each can is calculated out to 50 cents each. We are rewarding the club by the most participation with a $100 for that club. Again, this will go on till November 17th.
Seniors- If you need to retake PARCC for graduation, room assignments are posted in upper and lower A, F, and H hallways. PARCC math will take place Tuesday, November 14th at 7:25 A.M. and PARCC ELA will take place Wednesday, November 15th at 7:25 A.M. See Mrs. Salazar in E219 if you have any questions.
ATHLETICS:
VOLLEYBALL: Will play today at 1:15 at Santa Ana Star Center against the Las Cruces Bulldawgs.
