2014: Elsinore reached 98° F, tying the previous record high for the month set way back in 1918.

2010:
The Southern California low deserts had a chilly morning.
The low temperature in Borrego Springs fell to 31° F, the earliest freezing temperature on record and the lowest temperature in the month of November.
Thermal also broke a monthly record with a low of 20° F.

2008:
Widespread heavy rain left streets and low spots flooded.
Homes in the Yuma foothills and in south Yuma, AZ, were flooded.
One soccer field was soaked with 2 feet of standing water.

1997:
Two F0 tornadoes touched down near Fresno, about 70 minutes apart.

1997:
An approaching storm system brought strong winds to the coast and deserts.
In Victor Valley, toppled trees and power poles cut power to 3,000 customers and led to
school cancellations.
A business in Hesperia lost a 3,000 square foot section of roof.
In Carlsbad a woman was hospitalized after being struck by a flying awning.

1997: Monterey received 2.42" of rain -- a record for the month.

1994: Winter storm drops a storm total of 30" of snow in Yosemite Valley, pushing the monthly total here to a November record total of 59".

1990:
Mountain wave activity brought very strong winds to the deserts and desert slopes.
In Palm Springs wind gusts as high as 65 mph uprooted trees and lofted dust/sand.

1989: 24" of snow fell at Truckee.

1985: A slow moving low grabbing moisture from Hawaii started on 11.24 and ended on this day.
It dropped 2.57" in San Diego, 3.49" at Cuyamaca, 2.68" in Escondido, 2.62" in Julian, 2.49" in Pt. Loma and 2.48" in Santee.
Numerous areas were flooded and power outages were common.
Especially hard hit was Mission Valley.

1979: Wind gusts to 88 mph were recorded at the EPA building in Carson City, NV.
A new building that was under construction collapsed due to the high winds.

1970:
A series of storms struck the region from 11.25 to 11.30 following large destructive wildfires in the San Bernardino and San Gabriel Mountains earlier in the fall.
9.17" of precipitation fell in Lake Arrowhead, 7.22" in Lytle Creek, 5.11" in Big Bear Lake, 5.02" in Palomar Mountain, 3.56" in San Bernardino, 2.63" in Redlands, 2.51" in Santa Ana, and 2.05" in San Diego.
Flooding inundated streets and highways in the Rancho Cucamonga area.
At least 60 homes were damaged by floods and debris flows.

1960: 11" of snow fell at Glenbrook, NV (east shore Lake Tahoe).

1931:
Indio tied a record low for the month with a reading of 23° F.

1924:
The high temperature in Kingman, AZ, reached 84° F, which set a daily record.
This is the second latest 80 degree or better reading in the year on record.

1907: Bakersfield reached 90° F, warmest high temperature on record so late in the season.
