[californiadisasters] On This Date In California Weather History (June 25)



2006: The high temperature at Reno, NV, was 102° F.

2000:
A funnel cloud was observed 12 miles west of Ocean Beach.

1996: Strong winds
from a dust devil ripped through a mobile home park in North Las Vegas, NV,
tearing awnings and shingles from residences and hurling them hundreds of feet through the air.

1995: San Jose recorded a record high temperature of 105
° F.

1990: It was 122° F in Borrego Springs, the highest temperature on record.

1976: It was 99° F at Pismo Beach, establishing an all-time high for June.

1954: A tornado touched down northeast of Victorville. 0.29" of rain fell in Borrego Springs, the greatest daily amount on record for June.

1925: Warmest low ever in Fresno in June, 80° F.
