[californiadisasters] On This Date In California Weather History (May 4)



1998: A rare pair of tornadoes touched down in the San Francisco Bay area in Sunnyvale and Los Altos. 
Both tornadoes caused F1 to weak F2 damage.

1992: The high temperature at Reno, NV, was 87° F.

1951:
8" of snow fell at Tahoe City.

1950:
It was 35° F in Santa Ana, the lowest temperature on record for May.

1910: Yosemite Valley received 0.5" of snow.
