Congratulations to the Air Force JROTC cadets during the Ventana Ranch Christmas Parade this past weekend. The cadets teamed up with Holly and Hank and were selected as the Most Entertaining entry. Great Job cadets!"
LOST & FOUND: We will be giving everything in the lost and found to a charity on Friday. Come down to activities and claim your lost items.
LITERARY MAGAZINE:
The Lit mag is taking submissions for the 2017 edition. Submission forms are available from Mrs. Rizzardi or outside G201.Submissions will be accepted through January 13.
SENIORS: Please bring your Government or Economics book with you to school this week. They will be turned in after your finals to the bookroom.
COUNSELING:
Seniors: If you are interested in meeting with a representative from Eastern New Mexico University please sign up with Mr. Garcia in E224 at lunch.
If you are in need of credit recovery ECademy Spring Registration is open. Spring ECademy classes begin on January 4th so register early. The registration fee is $25, see your academy counselor to pay the registration fee and to enroll.
Any student taking an online course with eCademy may take their final exam here at Volcano Vista High School. Finals may be taken in your eCADEMY lab class or after school December 14 or December 15 in room A208. Final exams MUST BE STARTED BY 2:40 pm either day. Students needing a final exam after 2:40pm may take the exam at eCADEMY's main campus those days from 3-5pm. Please see Mr. Glaser in room A208 if you have any questions.
SENIORS: After December 17th the cost of cap and gowns will increase in price. If you have not ordered your cap & gown please go to Campus Specialties on Eubank and order it now!!!!
ATHLETICS:
BASEBALL workouts will begin January 4th after school. You must have a physical to attend. Bring your tennis shoes, glove, hat, and a vomit bag.
