SELFLESS SENIOR Congratulations to Susan Hastings for being chosen by the APS Foundation as a Selfless Senior.

 

ATTENTION UNIFIED HAWKS!!  Emergency meeting TODAY at lunch, room H217.  Flag football game has been rescheduled for this Friday.  Attendance is required!! 

 

If you love OPEN MIC NIGHT, be sure to pick up a limited edition Open Mic T-Shirt!  T-shirts will be sold for $5 before school or at lunch in Mrs. Rizzardi's room, G201, or at the next Open Mic Night concession stand.

 

DECA: Did you know you can help out a local senior citizen in need by donating here at school?  Visit the library to donate and to be entered into a drawing for a flat screen TV! You can donate things such as beanies, gloves, blankets, perfume, cologne, body wash, and slippers. We will be collecting donations until November 18th. Please help DECA brighten the holiday season for a senior citizen in need! 

 

The library will be closed at lunch on Thursday, November 17th. Please plan ahead of time if you need to print homework.

 

ATHLETICS: 

  • TRACK:  Calling all male track athletes!  We have a preseason boys track meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 16th in the Lecture Hall during lunch.  Come meet your coaching staff and find out about preseason workouts as well as how track season is going to be this year.  See you there!

  • Help your VVHS SOFTBALL TEAM by being there at our Spirit Night at Chick-Fil-A in Rio Rancho (off of Southern and Unser) on Thursday, November 17 from 5:30-7:30PM.  See Mrs. Lopez-Leger in A205 for a flyer or any softball player.  Please present the flyer at time of ordering.  Thank you for all your support!!

  • DIVING will be at Valley Pool at 4 on Thursday

  • SWIMMING will compete Friday in the APS Relays at Highland at 4

  • UNIFIED HAWKS: Our Unified Hawks flag football team will be competing at Cleveland High School on Friday the 18th from 4:00-5:30pm at their football field. There is no charge. Everyone go out and support our Flag Football Team.
