08/18/2016 0700 CA-LNU Clayton Fire: 3,929 acres, 55% contained. Minimal fire growth anticipated. Evacuation orders remain in place for Lower Lake. 08/18/2016 0700 CA-HUU Summit Fire: 21 acres, 95% contained. Continued mop-up in heavy fuels. 08/18/2016 0700 CA-SCU Bailey Fire: 100 acres, 75% contained. 08/17/2015 1850 CA-LNU Clayton Fire: 3,929 acres, 50% contained. Minimal fire behavior observed. Evacuation orders remain in place for Lower Lake. 08/17/2016 1850 CA-HUU Summit Fire: 21 acres, 95% contained. Continued mop-up in heavy fuels. 08/17/2016 1850 CA-SCU Bailey Fire: 100 acres, 70% contained. 08/17/2016 1715 CA-SCU Bailey Fire: 100 acres, 50% contained. Forward spread has been stopped. 08/17/2016 1620 CA-SCU Bailey Fire: 35 acres, 5% contained. Grass and oak woodland, rapid rate of spread. Threat to 115kV and 230 kV powerlines. 08/17/2016 0700 CA-LNU Clayton Fire: 3,929 acres, 40% contained. Minimal fire behavior reported over night. Evacuation orders remain in place for Lower Lake, repopulation in progress for other areas. 08/17/2016 0700 CA-HUU Summit Fire: 21 acres, 90% contained. Continued mop-up in heavy fuels. 08/16/2016 1847 CA-LNU Clayton Fire: 4,000 acres, 35% contained.380 structures remained threatened. 175 structures destroyed. 1,138 civilians evacuated. Evacuation orders remain in place for Lower Lake, all other evacuations have been lifted. Hospital infrastructure being brought on line in anticipation of repopulation 08/16/2016 1844 CA-HUU Summit Fire: 21 acres, 90% contained. Continued mop-up in heavy fuels. 08/16/2016 1844 CA-LNU Freight Fire: 10 acres, 100% contained. 08/16/2016 1600 CA-LNU Freight Fire: 10 acres, 80% contained. Forward spread has been stopped. 08/16/2016 1350 CA-LNU Freight Fire: 10 acres burning in grass and oak woodland with a moderate rate of spread., 0% contained. One structure has been destroyed. 08/16/2016 0930 National Weather Service - Eureka has issued a Fire Weather Watch for gusty winds and low humidity for fire weather zones 203 and 204, effective this evening through Wednesday morning. http://forecast.weather.gov/wwamap/wwatxtget.php?cwa=sto&wwa=fire weather watch 08/16/2016 0700 CA-LNU Clayton Fire: 4,000 acres, 20% contained.1,500 structures remained threatened. 175 structures destroyed. 4,000 civilians evacuated, 3 evacuation centers established. Fire has reached and is burning into the Rocky Fire perimeter from 2015. CALFIRE law enforcement has arrested a suspect of suspicion on 17 counts of arson, including the Clayton Fire. 08/16/2016 0700 CA-HUU Summit Fire: 21 acres, 75% contained. Continued mop-up in heavy fuels.
