Per the Hotlist and Tweeps listening to scanners it is in Little Tujunga near Dillon Divide and Kagel Canyon may be next... this thing is moving like it was daytime.

It's not every day I can watch a fire from my balcony.   Here's a crappy video of a hot spot around 1 AM.
 
 
As of right now, it seems to be quieting down.  Or at least I am not seeing as big of an orange glow nor as much active flame from my vantage point in Northridge.   Could just mean it's hidden in ridge.   This is all on the SFV side, not the SCV side.   Temps are at 81 right now, which is astonishing for the hour.  This is the first and only July Santa Ana event I've ever seen in all my years living in the San Fernando Valley.
