On this morning in 2007 powerful Santa Ana Winds drove this fire towards the mountain communities of Green Valley Lake, Arrowbear, and Running Springs which were forced to evacuate. The fire ultimately consumed 12,789 acres in those areas as well as 201 homes and 3 outbuildings.
