THE WINDS WILL GRADUALLY DIMINISH  THROUGHOUT TONIGHT. THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL BE FOCUSED THROUGH  AND BELOW THE PASSES AND CANYONS OF THE LOS ANGELES AND VENTURA  COUNTY MOUNTAINS...WHERE GUSTS BETWEEN 30 AND 40 MPH WILL OCCUR.  IN THE VALLEYS...WIND GUSTS WILL GENERALLY RANGE BETWEEN 25 AND  35 MPH THROUGH EARLY THIS AFTERNOON.
