CA-SHF Bagley Fire. 31,321 acres. 24% contained. Isolated torching, short range spotting, and surface fire. Forest road closures remain in effect. IMT1 (McGowan) took command of this incident at 0600. The ICP was relocated from Big Bend to Cooley Circle Seven Ranch just south of McCloud.

CA-MNF North Pass. 34,119 acres. 28% contained. Aggressive fire behavior with crown fire runs and short/intermediate range spotting. Backing fire in the Middle Fork Eel River drainage. The fire is being managed in Unified Command (Wakoski/Brown). Current acreage is 72% Federal and 28% SRA.

CA-PNF Chips Fire. 74,125 acres. 91% contained. Interior burning with low to moderate fire behavior with high resistance to control. The Sheriff's Office as of 1000 hours is lifting the Sheriff's Advisement for Prattville. The Mandatory Evacuation Order for Rocky Point Campground, Big Meadows, Almanor Boat Ramp, Almanor Days Use Area, Camp Connery and Canyon Dam has been lifted to Advisory Notification. The Voluntary Evacuation Notification for Rush Creek has been lifted.-Caribou Road to Butt Lake Dam from Highway 70- "Hard Closure" Rush Creek Road from Highway 70 - Open to residents only. All additional secondary roads North of Highway 70 between Rock Creek Dam and Twain from Highway 70- "Soft Closures" Seneca Road from Highway 89 - "Hard Closure" Butt Lake Dam, Ohio Valley Road, Butt Lake Road, Humbug/Humboldt Road and all additional secondary roads West of Highway 89 between Canyon Dam and the Humbug/Humboldt Road from Highway 89- "Hard Closure".

CA-KNF Fort Complex Fire. 17,607 acres. 25% contained. Backing fire with 4 to 5 foot flames. Fire was under an inversion the entire day. Smoke impacted Hwy 96 and Seiad Valley for the full operational period - the fire reached part of Hwy 96, a pilot car is being used to lead vehicles thru burn area using one way traffic.

CA-NOD Rush Fire. 315,577 acres. 96% contained. The fire is expected to be contained at 1800 on 8/30. Currently the fire has burned 271,911 acres in California and 43,666 acres in Nevada. Breakout of acres by ownership is: BLM - 288,626 acres; State - 3,987 acres; Private - 22,724. Acreage by WSA: Skedaddle WSA (58,615 acres); Twin Peaks WSA (30,671 acres); Dry Valley Rim WSA (20,123 acres); Five Springs WSA (48,898 acres); and Bitterbrush WSA (648 acres); Buffalo Hills WSA (10,731 acres).

CA-TGU Ponderosa Fire. 27,676 acres. 99% contained. The protection of life and property remain the foremost priority and concern. Each Division will continue to mop up 300 feet, tactically patrol around structures, continue to pull hoselays when mop up is complete, and mitigate hazards to the public. Damage Assessment Team has completed the survey and is compiling the Ponderosa Damage Assessment Report.

CA-SHF Bagley Fire. 31,321 acres. 24% contained. Fire was active overnight below inversion in burnouts and main fire with some spotting. Forest road closures remain in effect.

CA-MNF North Pass. 32,675 acres. 35% contained. Active fire behavior with occasional torching. The fire assisted with innitial attack north of the helibase yesterday.

CA-PNF Chips Fire. 74,125 acres. 87% contained. Moderate fire behavior, decreasing overnight with mostly interior burnning. Firelines held throughout the night.

CA-KNF Fort Complex Fire. 17,173 acres. 25% contained. The fire continues to approach Seiad Valley. An evacuation notice was implemented in Sceiad Valley. A Type 1 IMT has been ordered. The rollout of burrning materials on steep slopes and uphill runs continue to be control problems.

CA-NOD Rush Fire. 315,577 acres. 82% contained. Crews will continue to hold existing containment lines and mop up. Difficult terrain along the southern portion of the northeastern flank continues to hinder containment.

CA-TGU Ponderosa Fire. 27,676 acres. 96% contained. No additional spread or movement anticipated. Hazard and fire weakened trees are present through out the fire area, which is a safety concern for fire fighters and the public. Two private bridges along Rock Creek Road were damaged by the fire.
