[californiadisasters] [EDIS] Flood Advisory For All Rivers North Of Kern Co. Continues



THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HANFORD CA HAS ISSUED A * FLOOD ADVISORY FOR... ALL RIVERS IN THE SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY NORTH OF KERN COUNTY * UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  * WATER RELEASES BELOW THE DAMS WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE VERY FAST AND DANGEROUSLY COLD FLOWS ALONG MANY RIVERS IN THE SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY FOR AT LEAST ANOTHER WEEK OR TWO. WATER LEVELS ALONG AREA RIVERS WILL BE HIGH ENOUGH TO CAUSE MINOR FLOODING IN NEARBY LOW LYING AREAS. * LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS HAVE CLOSED ACCESS TO THE ENTIRE STRETCH OF THE KINGS RIVER BELOW PINE FLAT DAM DUE TO UNSAFE CONDITIONS.

 TO REPORT FLOODING... HAVE THE NEAREST LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCY RELAY YOUR REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE FORECAST OFFICE.
