On This Date In California Weather History...

2000: A funnel cloud was observed 12 miles west of Ocean Beach.

1990: It was 122° in Borrego Springs, the highest temperature on record.

1954: A tornado touched down northeast of Victorville. 0.29 inch of rain fell in Borrego Springs, the greatest daily amount on record for June.

1925: Warmest low ever in Fresno in June, 80 degrees.
